TERRORISM:: Pune Bakery Blast Kills 8 In India !!

A bomb detonated in a crowded bakery popular with foreigners in western India killing nine people and wounding 57, officials said Sunday, the first terrorist attack in the country since the 2008 Mumbai massacre.
The blast Saturday in the city of Pune, 125 miles (200 kilometers) southeast of Mumbai, threatened to damage new efforts to reduce tensions between nuclear-armed rivals India and Pakistan, with Hindu nationalist leaders placing blame for the attack on India's Muslim neighbor.
"It was a bomb lying in an unattended bag" Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram told reporters Sunday after visiting the bakery and the wounded in hospitals.
Six people died at the scene and three later succumbed to injuries at hospitals, he said. Of the 57 wounded, 19 were released from medical facilities.
Chidambaram said forensic experts were trying to determine what explosives were used and how the bomb was triggered.
"All the information available to us at the moment points to a plot to explode a device in a place that is frequented by foreigners as well as Indians," Chidambaram said.
Security forces were put on high alert Sunday at airports, train stations and markets across the country.

MY NAME IS KHAN !!

MY NAME IS KHAN & I’m not a terrorist! .....The message was very clear, tolerance and acceptance regardless of one's faith. It is the message of humanity and peace. Treating every one as equals and respecting them. 

Many shows cancelled and hundreds arrested in Mumbai, India for protesting against the Bollywood star Shahruk Khan’s latest movie MY NAME IS KHAN. Although the controversy deepens surrounding the movie and its famous actor Shahruk khan, the movie was shown across India as per scheduled. Due to the threats of possible violence at the cinemas, Media channels were on the spot covering the release of the movie. This made the whole thing much more interesting and thus compelled me more than ever to watch it.

The core message I got from the movie was tolerance and acceptance regardless of one's faith and belief. The movie was based on a young man; Rizvan Khan played by Shahruk Khan an autistic yet a very intelligent Muslim youth who tried to convince the people of USA and the world that even though he is a Muslim and his name is Khan, he is not a terrorist. He followed the President of the US tirelessly and tried to meet the president to convey this message. During his endeavor, at a gathering where the president attended, USA security officials arrested him suspecting him as a terrorist. Later it was found that he was just trying to meet the president to say that he is not what they claimed him to be. Events that followed made him very famous that ultimately provided him to have an audience with the president of the US and convey his message.

Kajol appears in this movie as Shahruk’s Hindu wife. Once married before and with a son whose death by racial and religiously motivated violence, Kajol's anger and regret drove Shahruk into an almost wild goose chase.

The acting was almost flawless and believable even though some parts were a bit more dramatic which gives it the usual Bollywood aurora. But Cinematography was top notch.
In general the movie shows how Muslims living in USA were treated after the terrorist attack in New York in 2001. The movie goes on casting how the Muslims were threatened and at times beaten up and isolated in the society.

The message was very clear, tolerance and acceptance regardless of one's faith. It is the message of humanity and peace. Treating every one as equals and respecting them. It is infect very true that every Muslim is not a terrorist. Neither is every Hindu nor Christian nor Jew. A good person can be of any faith and so does the bad. There is no definite defining point. This is well illustrated in the movie and a perfect lesson regarding this was given during Rizvan's childhood. I recommend the movie as I believe in the very message it gave; tolerance and acceptance.

Orkut Buyukkokten

A guy lost his girlfriend in a train accident... but the gal's name nowhere appeared in the dead list. This guy grew up and became IT technical architect in his late 20's, achievement in itself!!

He hired developers from the whole globe and plan to make a software where he could search for his gf through the web...

Things went as planned... and he found her, after losing millions of dollars and 3 long years!!

It was time to shut down the search operation, when the CEO of Google had a
word with this guy n took over this application. This Software made a whopping 1 billion dollars profit in its first year, which we today know as ORKUT.

The guy's name is Orkut Büyükkökten Yes it's named after him only. Today he is paid a hefty sum by Google for the things we do like scrapping. He is expected to b 1 of the richest person by 2011. Orkut Büyükkökten today has 13 assistants to monitor his scrapbook & 8 to monitor his friends-list. He gets around 20,000 friend-requests a day & about 85,000 scraps!!!
